Well I can't really cruically judge this because I'm not in the studio at the moment, I'm currently listening to this through a laptop. Though I can say there's too much mids in the instruments.. EQ it a little better and hit some hi's on it.. especially on the drumset.. you need it to sound as chrisp as possible even with FX's attached towards it. Also, make a better tag and if you was trying to make a rhyme then umm... you gotta ride the beat a lil better than that.. im talking bout the flow tho.. but other than that this is a good track.. There's still alot more to be done to it.. I'd say you take this back to the studio and listen to it a good 100 times and come up with more to it. -1-

P.S. - Put some better reverb and the Eq the strings better since thats the lead.

hmm..

definitely something different. But is it hip hop? I honestly can't answer that myself. Really looking at this track from a producers prospective.. It sounds trance-ish. I see you used the horn thats used in hip hop instrumentals but just cause it's in this song doesn't change genre of the beat. I respect the direction your going in, your at the state of mind i was at during 2006. the kicks at 0:22 feels off btw.. The kick could hit a lil more on point.. Oh and brah real shit.. take this beat back to tha lab and work on it... it's far from done. If you added some clever hi hats, maybe that would bring the hip hop feel to this more. Keep up the good work & check out my new single "Who Got It" -1-
