What you need to work on.. You'll learn eventually through time, you know what you need to do.. Just keep playing around with that eq man.. Really try to get how you hear these melodies in your head EXACTLY on that computer. Dont stop until you reach satisfaction 100%

Dont know if you create your drumsounds or prefer to use acoustic samples/loops (me it depends of the style im looking for), but stacking sine waves at different frequencies, using filtered noise and various envelopes to modulate everything go a long way for creating snare, kick, claps.
Stacking them with acoustic drums works too.

You definitely hit what you were aiming for.. "Spooky" is the word for sure... No lie, you can go many directions with this track... I could hear a meaaaan hip hop drumset to this. I hear the drumset comes in around 2:00 but damn my dude i see so much potential in you... I know you can take it to the next level.. This melody is dope as it is.. Just need a lil more push...truust i can do u becoming a monster.
