Heck,
There are rules to sampling & if you break em you'll get sued heavily. But since you aren't trying to make something out your music I guess that's Okay. But yo,
Instead of talking shit bout the hip hop media, Why don't you try to do something bout it. You should try getting signed to a record label or get into contact with a big rapper doing big things so he can make a hit out of one of your tracks so you could spread your idea of what Hip Hop should sound like to the world.. I feel that that's the way to take it to the next level. Yea know what I mean?
Plus while your in the new world, you'll be exposed to a bunch of new ideas & experiences that will enhance your creativity in music.
I completely feel you when you say you make music just for the passion of it. But why wouldn't you want to make a couple dollars off it? Cuz with those couple dollars.. you could actually make a change to hip hop (example, use that bread to start up a label, buy your own radio station, do stuff like that to broadcast your music & others that you think is actually doing something to keep hip hop breathing. Instead of sitting there talking about how hip hop is dying.. how about you do your job as "DJ Deliquent" and try to revive it.
But heck that's just how I feel. I'm more on the original side than the samplers side.. and to the beat? the beats decent. I just thought a little more could've been done to it
I told you this with the intentions of expanding your mind. But heck if you don't agree it's straight. Just keep doing you -1-
